As far as estate law goes they appear to be competent (we worked with Doug). I also appreciated that they were willing to conduct my elderly mother’s business at her home (we paid for travel time). My frustration with them was the lack of responsiveness. Follow up was less than stellar. I had to stay on them. It took about 5 months to accomplish a change in trustee and I am still waiting for the revised document. I am withholding some payment until I get my deliverables and refusing to pay finance charges.
In 2015, our long term, out-of-area business attorney retired. So, we were referred to James Haskell of Reynolds Law LLP by our accountant. As retired business owners, we had no current legal issues at that time, and therefore did not schedule an appointment right away to introduce ourselves. When an need arose, in real estate sale matters, we reached out to Mr. Haskell by phone. He responded immediately, supported by a professional staff and professionally appropriate billing. Our urgent call to him was the night before Thanksgiving in 2015!!! Now that is fabulous CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Mr. Haskell, from Reynolds Law LLP, helped our Parent/Teacher Club at Fairview Elementary in Fairfield, apply for 501c3 status. He walked and talked us through the whole process. He was kind, helpful, considerate, patient, and very knowledgeable. And he did it pro-bono. The process was smooth and removed a lot of stress from our parent board.
