I am extremely happy to talk this place up big time. I seen it advertised online and I checked it out. In a short time I was on my way to understanding every concept of this program. They're friendly, and he walked me through the steps of doing the signature online, clarified everything as clear as water. Easiest time that I've ever had applying for what I was going for. The amount each month saved me $200 and to have a portal makes it easy to view at home or if you like you have the choice to have it on auto pay. Trust me, I was amazed and I think you will be too. I have no regrets at all.

Total scam. I enrolled with private student loan debt. They assured me that they worked with College Avenue before. For two years I was paying $437, then $250, then $389 every 2 weeks to the dedicated savings account until I made 25% of my overall debt. I was in delinquency but they kept calling asking if I’m paying my creditors. Private student loans do not do settlements. Don’t bother. So I get an email today saying I graduated the program, because after I refinanced my loan, the residuals of the initial 6 loans were each under $500. There’s a set minimum. Because of this they could no longer settle and are just refunding me the $15k I set aside in that savings account for the last 2 years. The only helpful thing they do is skip a payment if you ask them a full week before your next one is due. This plummeted my credit score. I would’ve been better off just paying those amounts directly to my student loans. They’re more forgiving if you just tell them directly your financial hardship. (Forbearance). So now I’m going to put that $15k as a down payment to rebuild my credit score and still have to pay about $90k afterwards. I enrolled with $50-60k in debt. Total waste of time. And if I was able to do a settlement, I would’ve had to pay a legal fee anyway. That’s the only silver lining here, at least I’m getting back all that money I gave them. I tried it, could’ve been worse. But as far as student loans, don’t bother. They can probably only settle credit card debt.

This firm is the most professional firm I’ve ever dealt with. I returned a call regarding my case and Destiny was the one who took my call. She was extremely professional and helpful in making sure I understood the next steps in my case. The call did not end until she was sure I understood everything. She was extremely patient and understanding of my work schedule conflicting with the firm’s attempts in contacting me and guided me to other avenues of communications with the firm. With a very hectic and demanding work schedule, it’s simple things like this that some of us subconsciously neglect. This firm is highly recommended.

So I was referred by National Credit Debt as it was “required” by my state WHICH isn’t even New York. Anyway you are much better off dealing with creditors directly. I however, thought my only option at the time was this. Now originally, I was told 2 years for a fixed amount. It’s partially my fault for not checking my deposits/statements close enough, but they are essentially charging me 40% in fees every month instead of paying my credit cards down. I will be parting ways with them and finishing my debt myself. If they refuse to let me end the program (they told me I can cancel anytime) I will have to stop payments with my bank instead. At this point I’ve only paid one of 3 debts. But when I do the math, I’d have only $300 left to pay in my debt. Thanks to these fees!! They do NOT care about helping those in need. They care about filling their own pockets.
