I had my first custody battle starting last October 2021 as an unmarried mother. I was very inexperienced, no knowledge of this states laws, and scared. Mr Compton & Mrs Flinn were amazing! Mr Compton understood with so many court dates, I was struggling to keep up with my bills and payments due to missing work. My divorce was supposed to be official processed on March 16, 2019. I receive an email on March 12, 2019 that my divorce want be finalized for another 33 days. Best part or I can go to court and pay additional fees. How is this acceptable or proper steps for a client for a divorce. They claim my amendment was sent certified mail and needed to be signed. However today the amendment is being resent through regular mail. 1 +1=2. This makes no sense and I'm being given attitude by Crystal Rodriquez the only receptionist as she stated. When I asked to speak to her supervisor because she was rude I'm listening to laughs over the phone. The process of divorce can be simple if you hire a professional attorney and I promise you this is not the office. I can only imagine that I will be receiving even worst service when I arrive at 2 pm tomorrow.
