They can help with a lot of services and referrals. Word of advice, expect to spend a while. While I have a 3 visit policy before reviews, I have only visited twice in this one. Both times have been extensive in time but they are willing to help. They will be short with you at first until you get to talk to someone.

This place hires some idiot to answer the phone just to tell you they don’t help over the phone and that you need to help yourself online. I go online and try to search by “type of practice” cause idk who I’m looking for specifically which was why I called to begin with. But the “search by practice” tab says “offline” so this bar association does what exactly as far as connecting you to the right lawyer?

Doing CLE here this month and I am reminded how amazing a resource that we have as attorneys in this great city. The staff here goes above and beyond to make any interaction not only super pleasant and comfortable - but they have the efficiency down to a fine science. Thank you for the personal touches that you guys strive to put into place. They are noticed and they truly make a difference.

Terri (if I remembered her name correctly) was great and she was very helpful. We were able to complete our background check with ease. Great customer service!!!

Never had an opportunity to hire a lawyer, but this local professional organization is truly first rate in helping average consumers with straight-forward guidance! This experience was delightful from the very first person who answered the telephone to the department who assisted me in quickly answering my personal question. The lawyer referral service is top notch -- this department does not just shove somebody off to a lawyer is happened to sign up to be on a list. The lawyers are well-researched, licensed and are required to have insurance. I would normally expect a lawyer organization to my somewhat snooty in treatment of average lay persons, but the Columbus Bar Association truly is a benefit to the community and the citizens it serves. I would definitely recommend anybody who needs simple direction (not legal advice) to what kind of lawyer may be appropriate for handing the matter. The receptionist even invited me to visit the office at 175 South Third Street, if I was in the neighborhood -- wow! Thank you again and keep up the legal outstanding work in the City of Columbus!
