In this insular world of jails, courts, cops,lawyers, prosecutors, DA'S, and a whole SYSTEM, a system that goes on daily, a system that we KNOW NOTHING OF, while we go about our everyday lives with THIS world far far from what is filling our heads daily as we go to and come home from work. But....no one in our society is invulnerable from supposedly doing something "wrong", and finding yourself arrested, and suddenly, terrifyingly going through, THE SYSTEM.. There are some very fine legal aid attorneys. There are also SOME GREAT pay for?, (TERM?) attorneys. Last year, after 64 years of never being arrested, growing up in the Bronx and the LES, in the 60's & 70'S, I found myself behind jail doors, in the Tombs. I was now in the system. I hired Frank Rothman. I had heard great things about him, us both being denizens of the LES. What you want from a lawyer in not dissimilar from what you look for in a doctor. You want experience, a reputation of being "good", talented, actually caring, so that you feel confident, that you are in good hands...That the person helping REALLY gives a damn.. Frank is a great fighter. He is smart. He did me right. After 3 court appearances, when first they were threatening me with all kinds of heinous crimes, I wound up being told I would be pleading guilty to a non-crime. I woke up to this news as I took my first sip of daily coffee, with a tear in my eye. 93 days of hell, always feeling IN GOOD HANDS, trusting Frank, knowing I would get the best possible deal, because Frank, again, is smart, talented, and cares. I love this guy

One of the best law offices out there. I had an issue with aggravated harassment related to a former client with whom I had terminated my professional relationship with and their office new exactly what to do to help me when no one else could. The best of the best.
