This has to be the worst place ever!! You can't never reach no one. Lord forbid if u have to deal with these people!
Capital one uses this company to get their money. Terrible. At first the experience with the person over the phone was nice and helpful, we went over every option I can take. I then decided to try and settle the debt, but the salesmen who “reviews” the offers keep trying to drain every ounce with a counter. They use sneaky tactics, like spreading it out with additional payments, which they claim helps YOU out in some way. This firm, or whoever they are, won’t accept what you can only do. They don’t even respect the fact you are firm on an offer. If you have any bad streaks and capital one sends this horrible place to drag you through the concrete, good luck trying to settle. Just stick with what you can afford. Don’t bother.
Debski took on one of my defaulted account from a creditor. We have to an agreement on monthly payment and over 15 months I made those payments direct from my bank account. One day I found that my account did not exist anymore and was sent back to the original creditor and neither had an explanation Now I'm being contacted and threatened by another collector Midland credit management for the this debt for the full balance even tho I paid 860 dollars to debski. I have all payments documented and proof of account. They are fraudulent to say the least.
They are horrible money hungry monsters. I am paying on a debt that I did not occur and is more than 7 years old. The debt belonged to my deceased husband and I did not even know about it. I was left with no choice but to pay to avoid a judgement. They are very wealthy and want to squeeze any money out of anyone they can get. They are shady and underhanded. The girl who took my information was wearing glasses from Tiffany and I am a widow, single mother of 4, going to school, and I receive government assistance to feed my children.
I had a debt with Capital One and they used Debski to go to court and have the court garnish my wages. I settled with them in March and it is now May (almost 2 months later) and they have 3 checks from my employer that the woman said they have returned to my employer, but when I called my employer, I was told they haven't gotten the checks back and they can't void it without Debski's authorization. When they tried to call Debski, the woman handling my account wasn't there, so I can't get my money back without Debski authorizing it, my money is in limbo. I suspect that Debski has the checks and are holding them.
