I just called to ask a follow up question about a prior call, about a month ago. As soon as he answered the phone he seemed mad. He didn’t even say his name, so then I said hello and started explaining, then all of a sudden my phone disconnected and I was blocked mid-call. What??

No help at all a waste of time. They get all your personal information and share it and don't help you.

I filled out an application online and received an email letting me know that more information was required, which was fine. I called and provided the additional information they asked for. After three days someone else called to gather the exact same information. This person seemed angry that we even applied for services in the first place. I did not get the feeling that she wanted to help us or point us in the right direction. Her tone was disrespectful, she was borderline yelling at me, she made me feel like I was in the wrong. I would rather spend my last dime for representation than try to get help from them.

We applied for help online, and got a better attorney than attorneys I had to PAY FOR in the past. Greg Steele is absolutely amazing! Very thorough. Always calls me back. He has spent many hours on our case. It isn't hard to get hold of him. BTW, our case is an eviction case where we are counter suing the landlord for damages. Everyone we have dealt with at S C Legal Services has been decent, no complaints, but KUDOS to GREG STEELE!
