Howard Sagasar enjoys lying and gaslighting women. Throughout a 9 yr period he cheated on his wife Heidi with me. He kept me secret from his children & made sure that he met me in places where his work associates would not see him. Though he did help me with my animal rescue efforts by giving me money, he made these donations tacitly conditional on me keeping my mouth shut. I was the Other Woman, Howard's mistress to be exact. But if I hadn't been, then the animals in need would die and suffer. We all make choices, and I could choose morality or saving lives. If the City of Fresno had done more to help animals I would never have been put in this position. To me it was more immoral to let innocent animals die. There was an emotional component to my relationship with Howard. He sought my emotional support and validation. I assume because no one else would give it to him. But I find it ironic that a man worth millions would seek emotional support from a penniless Mexican woman, me. I observed in awe how he had no trouble whatsoever siphoning my emotional energy for his benefit, taking it home to his family and wife, while at the same time seeing me suffer in near poverty. At first I thought that he just didn't understand. But as time went on, I realized that Howard has absolutely no empathy or compassion for other human beings. And his kindness to me was limited to how much I didn't complain. If I complained or became frustrated his donations to save the animals became less. So I literally shut my mouth to save lives. Howard's sole purpose in life is to take and gain at the cost of other humans. Don't even get me started on the time he looked me straight in the eye and said, "The Klan are good people." Another time I told Howard how a neighbor was staring at me like he wanted to grape me. I was scared. Howard never asked if anything had escalated. Howard just didn't care. I found very interesting that Howard had no problem winning the Supreme Court case against the UFW, a labor organization that helps mostly Mexican field workers. I am Mexican and come from a family that worked in the fields. I know how terrible those conditions were before the UFW. And for Howard to dismantle the rights of immigrant laborers and still think he could keep his relationship with me intact is beyond unconscionable. While I never brought the issue up, I at least assumed he was going to try to make up this wrongdoing to me in some way. But Howard has no conscience. And he has no regard for the the humanity of others, including the woman who kept a secret for 9 years. In fact after he won the case, she became more arrogant and cold to me. My guess is that somehow my presence in his life served winning this case. The fact he could win that case and still look me straight in the eye expecting kindness is beyond my comprehension. I realize Howard comes off as soft spoken, calm, rational, and reflective. But bear in mind this is a mere facade. In reality, he is cold, entitled, shortsighted, and ruthless. I realize he may take action after reading this review. But after being manipulated by Howard for almost a decade, and living as his secret little Mexican mistress, and having him emotionally siphon from me while he used my validation to help him make millions, while he went home to a beautiful house with no concern for me, all while I lived in near poverty, well, I just don't care anymore. Howard Sagaser presented himself as a savior to me. But all he did is leave pain. Of course after reading this he will play the victim. But a White man worth millions of dollars, who is partner to a law with at least 3 locations, can he really be the victim of a penniless Mexican woman? Let's be real now. I'm done being his Dirty Little Secret. I told him this a long time ago & he refused to understand the emotional damage being his dirty little secret left on me. Perhaps if Howard had only shown me a grain of empathy I never would have felt compelled to write this. Howard Sagasar is a narcissist and inflicted a slow narcissistic abuse upon me.
