Long story short….contacted Schmidt Law to handle a legal separation. Very simply 3 months went by, with 2 meetings and absolutely nothing was done!! Kept getting excuses about how cases are prioritized…..guess my case was not important enough for them to handle. Sent an email to let them know I no longer require their services and nothing was even acknowledged. Not very professional as far as I’m concerned.

Divorce is seldom easy. Family court can be challenging to navigate and to comprehend. Morgan Payne is an excellent attorney, she is diligent, thoughtful, and highly knowledgeable. She put a high level of time, effort, and consideration into my rather complicated case. Her availability and response times were excellent. She provided the information and legal support necessary and gave me a thorough understanding of every step of the process. Everyone I encountered at Schmidt Law Legal Services was kind, courteous, and considerate. I cannot speak highly enough about the services they provided.

Hands down the worst law firm. They screwed up the transfer of two parcels of land, merged into one meaning I just got screwed BIG. Wouldn't return phone calls, wouldn't help me out at all. If you want a law firm that screws up then ghosts you pick these guys.

Schmidt Law has the best set of lawyers I have seen. I personally have Morgan Payne as a lawyer and let me tell you, she is very knowledgeable and can get you what you want. She has been working on my case for some time now and she is always on the ball. Her secretary Erin is very punctual and knowledgeable being only Morgan's secretary she really knows alot. I would highly recommend using Morgan Payne if you want a chance at winning.

Long story short….my family hired Scott M. to handle my step-fathers will probate. Over a year and a half later plus two probate cheques gone stale we finally had enough of this legal firm and their constant excuses as to why this simple will probate was dragging on for almost two years. I guess they never cared that a widow wanted to be able to finally put her late husbands estate to rest. My advice….use another lawyer
