Its unfortunate that some folks have had a bad experience with Scott, I personally have had a really good time working with him about a plethora of issues. Folks just need to be realistic, using an attorney doesnt automatically win cases. They are meant to represent you and provide the right information so individuals can make decisions about moving forward or not. I am a local investor that will continue to use Scott regularly. If this is up, its because he is doing an excellent job with me. Dont judge him on 1 or 2 reviews, talk to him and decide for yourself. Hes a good attorney in my book. I will refer him to my associates.

Called for consultation and was told I would receive a call back never did. They left me open wondering if I would receive communication back. Upon the court hearing The attorney was representing the other party. They never communicated to me that this was the case even after asking me questions regarding what I needed for representation. Be careful. Hope this helps anyone going through DV.

First off, he never answers the phone. I gave him timeframe, during work hours, that I would be free for a phone call, and if he did call me it was always outside of that timeframe. He had our case for months...at first it was great! He was calling, he got a hold of the other persons law team, great. He got them to come up with an offer, and that was it. The offer did not work for my husband and I, and he never did anything else about it. He would call me once a month, leave me a voicemail stating he needed my decision, and because he never answered his phone, I called him back and left a voicemail GIVING him the information he needed! Eventually, his Secretary just kept calling me for the billing. I told her, several times, that I wanted scott to call me back for once before I paid, in which he did, and told me that he was going to start working on it again (mind you, almost 6 months of not touching it), and I have still yet to hear from him again. This was over a year ago. My husband and I were taken advantage of by someone who knew how to look appealing to low income families by allowing payment arrangements, and started off great by getting an offer, and never put in any legwork after to resolve the issue we had. I am since then hiring a different lawyer.

My experience with this atty... Hmmm. well he is unethical in my opinion. Reason being... go to court for unlawful detainer. Eviction process.. He finds technicality and gets case dismissed charges 600. dollars... go to court again with unlawful detainer gets case dismissed again charges 600 dollars.. go to small claims court and lose case anyway.. still owe the money I was being sued for in the first place... I call this totally unethical...
