Be prepared to spend unnecessary funds without the results you're looking for. Skala represented in custody case. Was very passive, and even gave the wrong information during custody hearing. Couldn't even remember the child's name on multiple occasions. Was not clear at all when it came to billing. Racked up charges without explanation and went through retainer almost instantly. The hourly rate was great - the way they charge for services, though, was not specific or explained whatsoever. The itemized bill was inaccurate but they deny it. Money was wasted and very little time was spent on the case. Switched attorneys only to find out the last hearing had not been filed properly and that we would most likely have to start over from square one with custody. Not to mention, the new attorney charges significantly more per hour and has cost us less money WHILE getting more accomplished. Would not recommend. I rarely ever review services, especially negatively, but this was a big one for us. Looking through the reviews, most of the high ratings seem to be received by Miller, who we have met and seems to be a great attorney. Our experience with Skala was not that.

George Miller is a very knowledgeable attorney who prepares well for court and who was really caring and passionate about my cases. He handled my civil cases and helped me out on a criminal matter as well. He was always willing to talk to me to help answer my legal questions, and to help me understand the procedures in my cases. George was successful in helping with all of the stuff I was facing and has helped me avoid other issues altogether. I recommend him to anyone looking for a good attorney who will treat you fairly and honestly.
