I stumbled onto Smith Eibeler as I was looking for someone to handle my contract negations with my Employer. I found Chris Eibeler, to be attentive and Knowledgable. He advised and counseled me through the negotiations, and was always available and responsive. In the end I was extremely happy with the outcome. I found the fees to be extremely reasonable, based on the complexities of the negotiations. I am planning on using him again for Consulting contract work. Would highly recommend this firm and Chris Eibeler in particular.

If you want a good attorney do not go to this place at all I had a deadline of a week to file for an appeal so I called them on a Monday they call me back gave some lady paralegal didn't even give me her name all the information they said that someone would get back to me you know they never called me back totally blew me off then after calling three times they finally send me an email saying they can't help me now my deadline is passed because of them and they pretty much screwed me if they would have called me back the next day to let me know they couldn't help me I could have found somebody else no explanation of why they couldn't help me or anything just a real shity place I wouldn't do any business with these people they're not for the public their only concerns is making money

Did not deliver. Took over an entire year to do a draft letter and they were complete unresponsive. I had to follow up at least once per month, if not I didn't hear from them. Work with anyone else other than Meghan. Update: I was harassed by Meghan immediately, receiving multiple calls and messages accusing me of defamation, while I have emails that prove I constantly had to follow up and made a true statement with my review. Ironically, while she “represented” me, it was rare I ever received a call and had to insist to receive one back. Then, I was threatened by Chris Eibeler himself that if I don’t “take appropriate action to remove the defamatory review, (they) will have no choice but to respond with appropriate action.(They) hope this is not necessary.” Also, there was never a direct justification why a DRAFT letter took over a year to complete, when seasoned attorneys should understand the urgency of certain cases with the related statute of limitations. Additionally, as a former client, I had to withstand belittling statements from Meghan saying "I didn't even have to pay anything" even though the retainer agreement was structured with a contingency fee arrangement, decided upon by their own firm. Then, Chris Eibeler himself backs up this lack of professionalism in treating a former client by saying “I have reviewed each line item of billing records, which reflect attorney time in the amount of almost $21,000, none of which you were or are responsible for paying under our contingency relationship.” If that is an issue, then they shouldn’t offer that to their clients. Otherwise, don’t make disparaging statements and threats about this, wow. Smith Eibeler claims they are a reputable firm, while their treatment toward clients says otherwise. And on top of that try to silence any complaints, I wonder if this is how they’ve kept their “reputable” status up, congrats.
