I spent more then a month searching for an attorney to sit down with me and look at my case fully. I'd probably reached out to 20+ attorneys before I was given a referral to Mr. Brierley. Due to military orders, I was on a time crunch before being sent across the country. My month of searching for an attorney very quickly became "I only have 2 days left, and I can't seem to find anyone to help me." I called so many people and never heard back. Not only did he get back to me the same day I reached out, but he listened to the entirety of my case, gave sound advice, and I was able to retain his services the same day. One day prior to moving, we got the ball rolling. On the third day during our drive across the country, I got the email. My former landlord (who also had a lawyer) decided to settle and give us our money, but now with the added cost of my lawyers fees. All in all, it was a pretty quick process. TBH, I kinda wish I had gotten to see Mr. Brierley in action in court. I have no doubt we would have won. But, we got our money, and that's what matters. If you are looking for a lawyer, look no further.
Recently was represented by the firm in a business case. Garrett is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and communicative. His calm confidence, knowledge of the law, and tenacity made a stressful situation much easier. Best of all, we won. I can't say enough good things about this firm.
Fantastic experience! Adam and Liz defended my mother so wonderfully. Let me tell you what, if you're able to get this power house team on your side, do it!!! Here is one part of a bigger story that really stood out. One day Liz had to come over to the house in a hurry, she got there on Gods timing too. The police had just decided against us, that my mother was not allowed to stay in her house. I was a wee bit scared and unable to do much of anything even tho I believed what was happening was dead wrong. I had Liz on the phone and she was driving exactly the speed limit Im sure, to get over to the house while the police were there. I put her on speaker without telling her (sorry!) and ran over to ask the cop to stay until she arrived. The fire was flying on her end and she was telling me "I'm gonna hit them with a no trespassing this, and whatever law term thing that" just in time for the cop to hear it. He decided he would wait a few more minutes. (please hurry!) You ever watch a movie where the bad guys are winning and help is too far away? That's exactly what I felt like. I was too helpless in this situation to do anything for my mother but watch her get kicked out of her house. But just then, at the last moment SURPRISE! lights come on. Liz rolled up, and she was ON FIRE! They all go back in the house to talk for a while, and I stayed outside with "the other side" to try and make peace. I'm much better at that then getting nasty. So about 10 or more minutes later just the cop comes out (off to a good start, my mom stayed in the house) and he tells them " I have some good news, and some bad news" (which to me meant he had bad news, and good news). He proceeded to tell them he COMPLETELY CHANGED HIS MIND and they can't go in my moms house without her permission! I was so happy and relieved, Liz made a 100% difference that day. I can't speak about the overall situation other than Adam and Liz put it to them in the court room, and we were victorious!
Garrett was everything you could ask for- responsive, professional, knowledgeable, expedient, and he got my security deposit back for me! I would highly recommend this firm to anyone and couldn’t be more thankful.
I had a complicated tenant issue. I was pleased with the service I received from this law firm. He always answered his phone and did exactly what he said he would do from day one.
