My adult son was in a terrible accident and was unable to communicate or self-advocate for several months. Because of the delicate circumstances, I was unsure of what to do. I had hired Jim before, so I called him and explained the situation and what I was hoping to achieve by hiring him. First, Jim asked frequently about my son and the progress of his recovery. He had met my son several times before the accident, and I could tell he was genuinely concerned. All those jokes about lawyers not having souls … I tell you, Jim Spiros doesn’t fall in that category. The size of his heart was evident. The man is kind and generous. Second, Jim impressed me with his careful handling of the case. At first, I made the decisions; but as my son recovered, Jim glided smoothly into the other lane and let my son take over as the main client, so to speak. I was impressed with how he gently included my son in the decision-making and updates, and how he gradually faded me out. It was perfect. My kid felt heard but never overwhelmed. Quite a balancing act, and Jim had the intuition to pull it off. When you have a kid go through a major medical trauma, you see them get ignored and dismissed by medical professionals for months. With Jim, it was the opposite. He really listened my son. Third, Jim respected our wishes wrt the outcome we desired, and he got it accomplished quickly. I thought the case would drag on for years. Nope — it was handled in less than half the time I expected. Fourth, Jim is aggressive. It felt like I had hired an attorney in NYC or DC. But, Jim is also diplomatic and polite. It really is a spectacular combination. He fights for you. Finally … Jim’s office staff is also top-notch. Nothing ever slipped through the cracks, and they always came to me as things happened. I never had to ask for a status update. Their customer service skills are on point, which is rare. I never write reviews unless I can genuinely give 5 stars. Honestly, if I could, I would give Spiros Law 6 stars. The experience was perfect, and I’m so grateful that I had access to this high level of competence and such great results in our small town. I used Spiros Law for my work comp case. Andrew was my attorney for the case. Accident happened at the start of covid 2019 so I never meet with Andrew in person everything was handled over the phone. I never had a problem and Andrew was always available to answer calls or return calls. That made a big difference because normally your in the dark and get no responses from other firms during a case. Very happy with results and feel Andrew was on my side against very aggressive insurance company.
