Stutz Miller & Urtz LLC

After calling every law firm in Colorado that practiced the branch of law I needed help with, I came across Miller & Urtz, LLC. Every other law firm I called either took my name and number with the promise of calling me back (yet never did), phone went straight to voicemail, and then there was one firm that I called every single day for a week; they kept telling me (without even knowing what I needed help with legally—only that it was urgent) they would speak with the attorneys and one would get back to me that day; I never received a single call back from that firm. When I had finally given up that I was going to ever be able to get ahold of a law firm and speak with someone to explain my situation, I found Miller & Urtz; I was so tired by that point after hours on the phone, I wasn’t articulate and certainly wasn’t expecting anyone to pick up. To my surprise, an incredibly kind paralegal named Camille answered. Camille spoke and patiently listened to me for 20 min. She was exceedingly empathetic, kind, wise, fully transparent, and actually had my best interest at heart. She told me she would do some research of her own and would get back to me Monday (it was a Friday around closing time), as she isn’t a lawyer herself so there was only so much she could help me with. Camille was already doing research as we spoke on the phone and less than an hour after we hung up, I had received 3 emails from her with links, incredibly helpful information, and details I wouldn’t have found myself; she didn’t wait until Monday to follow up—she didn’t even wait an hour, and I wasn’t even a client. She went so far above and beyond for a stranger. The best lawyers I know/dealt with, I’ve discovered and chosen based on my initial interaction with their paralegal; not once have I interacted with a really good law firm that doesn’t have an extraordinary paralegal behind the scenes. There’s a misconception that all lawyers are sleazy, money-hungry individuals who help get criminals off the hook for crimes they did commit—and yes, there are many lawyers that are like that, but to me I’ve always thought the opposite. To me lawyers are like superheroes and right what is wrong in the world—and why I’ve wanted to be one since age 12. Although I haven’t spoken or worked with Mr. Miller or Mr. Urtz (I’m writing this the following Saturday), I believe it’s a reflection of their own good faith and character that they employ a paralegal as prodigious as Camille. 10/5 stars. Hire this firm if you need the best of the best in CO. Trust me.
