Thieves, thieves and thieves only behind a friendly face. If you go to Olive Garden for example, they will not warn you about stilling your money when you play the game on their kiosk. You even don’t pay attention for $ 1,99 in your receipt. Without warning you they still your money. Be aware Ziosk are scammers!!! No doubt.
My credit card got stuck in a Ziosk machine in Danvers MA yesterday, April 13, 2021. The staff were nice enough and said the machines had only been at their restaurant for a month. They called technical service at Ziosk and after 40 minutes of us sitting there wondering what was happening the manager showed up with needle nose pliers and said Ziosk said the only option is to "try" to pull it out with the pliers. I took the pliers and it came out relatively easy but it was obvious by the feel that the electronic mechanism was not releasing my card and the pull with the pliers was stronger than the pinch or the retention mechanism holding onto my card. I won't be using one again. I was surprised neither Ziosk or Olive Garden offered to pay for our 23 dollar lunch. The manager was pretty and smart looking which helped.
I worked in the warehouse as a Technician repairing Ziosk tablets and battery chargers. Don't bother to work for this company unless you want to stay as a temporary worker for years. It Does not matter if you are an excellent employee, Ziosk has an unofficial rule of not making temporary employees part of the permanent staff for years. Not only that, they lie to people and tell them just to wait just a few more months in order to become permanent, something that never happens. Don't fall into their trap. New manager "Craig" he's a micro manager, rude, has a bad attitude, always looking for ways to fire people just for little mistakes. In my opinion people like Craig that should not be in any management position and should be fired immediately. No chance for advancement, once you are in any warehouse position you are stuck there for life. Warehouse it's dirty, unorganized and they are always out of parts to repair the equipment. People working "upstairs" look down upon warehouse employees reeks of elitism and grandiose symptom. Think they are better than others and those working below don't deserve same treatment. As a result of these factors morale it's low and turnover it's really high. Only work for this company as a last resort while you continue to search for decent, better opportunities elsewhere, there are other tech companies with better salaries and working conditions here in Dallas and surrounding cities.
Even as a server I liked the idea of this, however what's ridiculous is that if you don't tell the server you ordered something from it.. They don't know! My desert has been sitting in the window at Olive Garden until I asked my server. She replied by saying she saw it on the window but had no idea I had ordered it so she didn't know it was hers. This technology is not helping the dining experience, it's hindering the service industry from actually doing a good job.
Will work you to death 60+ hours as a temp just so the fat cats upstairs can get their performance bonus and then let you go. Shadiest place to work for and their equipment is grossly negligent of what 'refurbished' should be.
