Not great at communication. Staff is not nice. Only wants your money. If you have to pay to speak to someone they need to make that very clear. But better than that if they would be better at communicating then that wouldn’t be needed.

Very unprofessional scheduled appointment with “Mrs. Tate” over the phone after we discussed the rates and process. So I take off work and drive all the way to the location just to be told by the receptionist that no one was aware of the appointment or told by “Mrs Tate”. Apparently she was sick which is understandable but at the same time that’s when you call your future client to reschedule or notify the individual. So I give it another chance the receptionist ask me when I’m available I told her she said let’s do it Saturday she ask me what time I said morning she replied with no can’t do mornings “Mrs. Tate” don’t wake up til after 12 which is crazy being the fact she is a attorney I agree to Saturday she said she will call me and let me know Saturday passes by I call back she says she still haven’t heard from her remind you this is me doing all the follow Ups no one is giving me any status or updates on me just getting appointment to pay for representation weeks go by and i still get nothing so I gave up if this is how there response to scheduling I can only Imagine being represented do not recommend ! And the receptionist sound like she don’t know anything or how to do her job ! Almost as if I was just talking to a friend instead of a professional . If I could put no stars I would

1. Did not know the court date, time, or court room 2. Talks to the opponent more than she talks to you. In fact, she will bill you for phone conversations and not the other party whom she is answering calls and questions for. 3. Nearly had me late to the first court date because she told me to stop by office to sign some paperwork, THE MORNING OF COURT DATE. I get there and the receptionist says there is not anything for me to sign. 4. Considers the opponents feelings and perception rather going for what you ask for. 5. The custody agreement was very vague and not specified, creating confusion.

I witnessed Miss Tate at work when she represented a friend of mine in his divorce case. He would call several times a week to get answers regarding his case and would always request a call back from Miss Tate's assistant, but would never receive a call back from her. She would show up to court without preparing him on the hearing and after the hearing was over would not explain what exactly happened which left him feeling even more confused and frustrated. My friend has been in the process of a divorce for almost 2 years now. He was represented by a previous attorney that got him nowhere before he hired Miss Tate midway through the process. Needless to say, he is still no closer to an actual divorce than he was before. He has depleted his savings because of this process and does everything he can to provide for his family. He paid Miss Tate a ridiculous amount of money (in my opinion) and she has only filed one item with the courts and made only 2 court appearances. When he became behind on his payment he called and made arrangements to pay but a week BEFORE he was to pay he received a withdraw from Miss Tate in the mail. He is a man that just wants to take care of his children and he's being stopped at every turn and can't find an attorney that will fight for him and his rights. I was not personally represented by Miss Tate, but in my opinion she does not research her cases thoroughly, she does not follow through, and all of this is very unproffessional behavior for someone you want in your corner fighting for you in court. I would not recommend hiring her to represent you!

Jessika Tate has helped me tremendously with my Child Custody case. I have had custody of my children for 4 years. There is no doubt in my mind that she knows what her business. If you need a good attorney I would advise you to retain her service. Thank you Ms. Tate for a peace of mind.
