The worst experience I’ve ever had with an attorney. She doesn’t communicate with her clients, makes you feel like she doesn’t care, can’t answer questions. The communication between her and her legal assistant is terrible. Took 3 months just to get any progress on my divorce, and when I let my frustrations known her response was to withdraw from my case. Her withdrawing herself has been the BEST experience I’ve had with them. I would avoid this “law firm” at all costs. **** As to reply**** For starters I guess I should have written a review to get a timely response. Also I have dealt with other attorneys and NONE have acted and spoken to me in the way YOU did. Interestingly enough I get new council and I get all the paperwork that has been needing to be filled out and filed that YOU and YOUR office FAILED to provide. As to your “things take time” it doesn’t take 3 months to serve some divorce papers.

Unclear as to her efficiency as a lawyer as that'd require some communication. I've been watching my friend deal with their legal issues through Vivian and be left to scramble to gather required information at the last minute due to Vivian contacting them as late as possible. She presents a hard front and, as her responses suggest, she implies that she's reachable at her office but from what I've seen, she seems to be anything but. We've been waiting to see her bite down like she described herself but so far, nothing. Perhaps she's dealing with personal issues or perhaps there's some other reason for her near entire absence, it's unknown. Unfortunately, I'm starting to see why her reviews are as they are. Fingers crossed things change soon but thus far, I see no reason to hold my breath. I will edit things as things progress and raise or maintain the rating accordingly so this is not my final verdict but, from the outside looking in, it's not good.

I was referred by my legal plan through my employer regarding the personal sale of property valued at over $60k that I was never contractually paid for, nearly 5 years running. I was told I would receive a consult call to discuss the validity of my case and perhaps to discuss any retainer fees that I was more than happy to pay. After 3 weeks, I'm looking for a different legal team. No call, no email. Nothing.

I have known Vivionne Barker both personally and professionally for a very long time. I can tell you that if you hire Ms. Barker, you will have a fierce and prepared advocate in court. I have seen how hard she works to prepare for trial so that she is ready for any issue that may arise. I can also tell you that she has been complimented by other attorneys and the local judiciary for her performance in court. I highly recommend Ms. Barker.

Everytime I call for my friend who has been locked up 2 years they don’t answer when I call from my number nor do they return my call…. I can call from a different number and they answer…. My friend should of had a bond hearing now and had a visit from Ms Barker like she said she was going to have 3 months Ago
