Unfortunately, I cannot recommend The Baxter Law Firm. During my initial telephone conversation, I found Ms. Thompson extremely abrupt with constant interruption. I did not have the documents she needed readily at hand. The purpose of my call was to explain the situation and ask if her firm could handle such a case. I was asked to send several documents for her review. However, after careful consideration, I wrote Ms. Thompson and explained that I would not be moving forward with her and how I felt about our initial call. As expected, Ms. Thompson took it personally and felt the need to lash out - her response: Subject: RE: Consultation Thank you for your email which I find insulting and rude. Professional courtesy was extended to you which was clearly not appreciated nor reciprocated. Our conversation was not productive as you were not prepared to speak with me nor answer my simple questions in order to guide you in the right direction. I listened and heard what you had to say. I find this email is unnecessary and interpreted by me as lacking the professional courtesy I extended to you yesterday. I wish you all the luck in securing counsel. Kindly, Christina C. The best Law Firm in SC! Christina Thompson is truly a professional and caring and smart and outstanding lawyer who took care of me and my child. Chris and her staff are more than amazing, I went through a nasty, bitter divorce and Chris and her staff was very supportive from day one until the end. Chris and her staff responded to every single call and email and bless it even a few text messages. Chris was very upfront with me how my case could go or not go! My case was not easy but I was VERY pleased how Chris handle herself in her office, meditation and most of all in the court room!
