Unfortunately, in our opinion, this law office has become an old Austin 'has-been'. Once a formidable law firm, the firm has taken a turn for the worse under Laura Sanders-Fowler. We were sued and sought their expertise in employment law. When we met with Laura Sanders Fowler, she took the time to regale us of past court cases and told us a story about a checkered tablecloth and her friends at the F.B.I.. Of course, we paid for that time of boasting as well. They had an employment attorney on staff but, instead, she assigned us an attorney that did not seem to have much employment experience at all. He second guessed himself and developed court motions that were never filed. Of course, we still paid for the development of the motion. We seemed to be paying for his on-the-job training. Feeling like our attorney did not have the expertise required, we wanted to become more knowledgeable about the case. When I sent an email asking for additional information, I received a nasty email back from Laura Sanders-Fowler threatening to remove the case from their firm. She stated that our attorney had saved us from serious consequences when in fact the case was not yet resolved and our attorney had done nothing of the sort. She was totally out-of-touch - but, her message was clear: Don't ask questions and just pay the bill. I was shocked. I should have taken that experience as an indication that I needed to look elsewhere but I thought, perhaps, that it was just a bad day for Ms. Sanders-Fowler. Well, it seemed every day is a bad day for Ms. Sanders-Folwer. At the end of the case, we found out that the plaintiff was only suing us for less than $2,000. This, mind you, after we spent thousands at this law firm. With plaintiff attorney fees, we finally settled the case for over ten times that amount. Altogether with Fowler law firm's cost, we spent $50,000 defending ourselves from a lawsuit of $2,000. We feel that we got played. Lawyers got their money. Frankly, we would not trust the Fowler Law Firm to draft a simple will. We recommend avoiding this law firm and taking your business elsewhere.

BE AWARE!! They are not professional and compassionate law practitioners. They have been more judgmental than helpful in various client and attorney dealings. Pls take your business somewhere that they show care. This one is only after your money with really BAD service.

Yeah I'd like to know why I have evidence that suggests one of your attorneys is up to no good? I think you guys may need to contact the texas bar association and maybe williamson county before you allow anybody to make any moves. The received my package yesterday according to tracking. Won't be hard to find. Manilla envelope, no return address, heavy. Also you guys should put an email address on your website. I wouldn't have to post this for the world to see. Also, what civil litigation attorneys dont have an email address you can hit up if you may have litigation concerns?

They messed up a simple task of adding a name on a deed and instead transfered 100% ownership to my spouse. When I called Ms. Fowler directly she got defensive when I told her that her fellow lawyer lied to me about what was being described on the special deed she told me to get another lawyer and hung up the phone instead of working to resolve the issue. What is this place that they can screw up so badly and treat people like this?
