Attorney Gilbert fought hard for him for about 2 1/2 years.....every time they would throw something else out there Attorney Gilbert and his team would dig until the truth was found and fight even harder for my husband. He also treated us like family......I am proud to call Attorney Gilbert a friend and would recommend him to anyone. My husband's case went from life to a misdemeanor.

LaDray Gilbert is unprofessional, unethical, incompetent, dishonest and a very bitter man. He will promise you everything and as soon as he gets the cash in hand he's a different person! He keeps your case for a while and refuses to file motions, have depositions, show up for your pre-trial hearings ect. and when you start holding his feet to the fire and demanding that he do his job he becomes furious and files a motion to withdraw from your case. However, the new Judge has put a stop to some of that. If you read the reviews on his page as well as other sites you will see that the people giving him 5 star reviews are referring to his community service work not his work in the courtroom (very misleading and dishonest). It's obvious that he has his employees and friends rate him after a bad review, that would explain why some of the names are misspelled. Do yourself a favor before you hire this Firm by looking on the Clerk of courts websites and search his name, read some of the motions that he filed on HIS behalf, he files the wrong motions, doesn't respond to plaintiffs motion on time, doesn't show up (these are cases where he is being sued) and always blames others for his incompetence. Hope this keeps you from becoming a victim!!
