Reviews

Erica was our second lawyer for a nasty custody and adoption case. After our first lawyer did basically nothing, we chose her because of her amazing reviews and she didn’t disappoint. Choosing her was the best decision we ever made! She is worth every penny. She will fight and push for your child as if they’re her own. She is also very knowledgeable with the laws and isn’t afraid to challenge judges and lawyers. If you want a lawyer to get you the results you want and then some, hire Erica. She is sweet, smart,& very personable.
Erica's firm represented me in a custody case. I say Erica's firm because I had more significant interaction with her staff than Erica herself. There are a few reviews I've seen being critical of that. But this is how these things go. Her staff was attentive, communicative, and always willing and ready to assist when an issue arose. While I had admittedly few interactions with Erica herself, they were all mostly positive. The only negative interaction at all came from her telling me what expectations I should have about my case's resolution and that what I wanted wasn't going to happen realistically. While I didn’t like hearing it, she told me the truth. Your council should do that, and I can not say it loud enough that Erica fought like heck for my rights as a father from the moment I met her through our time in court. Erica Lord has an excellent staff, and she made darn sure I didn’t lose my son. I wouldn't trust any other firm with my son's future.
Having Erica as my lawyer was such a comfort. She gave me the confidence to stay positive. More importantly she treated me as a friend and not just a client. The whole Firm is Awesome and so kind, highly recommend.
They need $6,000.00 upfront and around $250 for the initial consultation to represent you also around $325.00 per hour or per appointment to talk about things. Hardly any communication, lies about communication etc.. There were 2 appointments by phone with no messages, and an unconfirmed by email appointment when they said id missed 3 appointments. They say they informed me that they had dropped me as a client the day we actually went to trial., but I have no proof of that anywhere she told the judge I complained about their representation and couldn't represent me. What a crock.
Very professional, and easy to communicate with. She will explain stuff if you don’t quite get the technical terms of everything and works with your schedule when needing to meet. As well as caring about the child involved in the situation and putting the child’s best interest first.
