Laureen Cameron might be the best and most compassionate lawyer in Sarasota. I had a very hostile and angry ex husband, Marc Babin, who was bitter and full of ego. He didnt want a lawyer since he "was smart enough to represent" himself. Ms. Cameron and her staff talked me through how to have a compassionate, collaborative divorce. This was a man I adored and we have children together. Divorce should not be dirty. It should be liberating for everyone. She inspired me to be my authentic self at all stages of the divorce and to look at why I was doing what I was doing every step of the way. At the end of the day I wanted to be able to look in the mirror and to know that I had been fair and transparent. I feel very proud of how I was at times challenged and encouraged by the staff. Now that it is all over, I feel like my integrity and soul are still in tact. Her staff, too, is understanding and genuine. Michelle and Jen are powerhouses of information and these women are truly about how to exit your marriage with dignity. I cannot thank them enough for all that they did for me and my children.

Do not hire this woman!! She's a LIAR! We hired her for a divorce and a child custody and was told it was going to be a total of $3500. She took our money and didn't hear from her for almost 5 months thinking she was already working on my case. We finally got a hold of her and she was like we're ready to proceed. So we were like what do you mean, you haven't started! So when everything was said and done she didn't do the child custody and wanted another $3500! This woman should not be practicing law. We gave her our trust and all she did was lied.
