Paid him just to get a license reinstated. Simply took $2,000 and didn’t simply call to set a court date and lost everything cause of him.

Very unprofessional and unpleasant. Does not return phone calls in a timely manner. He tries to "hit" on you and take you out for dinner. Mr. Milam is not afraid to sleep with his clients and rumor has it he had a baby with a client he denies. So if the rumor is true then who would trust someone like this with their case. Very unethical and an embarrassment to REAL attorneys who practice in this area. Will never call this office or attempt legal advice again from him. Women beware.

First time I met with him he said they offered you 16months. He hadn’t ever talked to me. Did not know anything about me. And presented himself as if he wasn’t even there to defend me but to convict me. I don’t recommend. He couldn’t even remember my name. He had already discussed a plea and details about my case to the DA without even learning any information about my side of the case. Maybe I’m wrong and maybe he wasn’t trying to just hurry up and get my case over with “ oh it’s just another dope head” but it sure seemed like it to me. And it wasn’t right. This is my life dude!! Response to reply: You must be talking about after the first time I met with Milam in which after that I had no reason or want to communicate with y’all after that. You absolutely never tried to reach out before my arraignment and after that I never wanted to have any more business with him. If you would have tried to reach out before maybe he could have remembered what my name was but maybe not due to his obvious lack of care for his clients.

Mr. Milem is patient, humble, and very kind. My husband was awarded custody of his daughter May 2019. His daughter, who was 15 at the time, says that Mr. Milem was very kind and approached her with a warm demeanor, which she appreciated during that stressful time. Mr. Milem is very straightforward and is amazing in the courtroom. He is confident and knowledgeable in his field. His assistant, Elizabeth is also kind and gives a nice warm welcome when you enter the office. She is polite, professional, and knowledgeable of her position. My husband and I highly recommend The Law Office of Kirk Milem!
