I reached out to RJ a couple months back about some hit and run defense. After talking through the facts of my case, he actually advised that given my specific and unique fact pattern, that I not hire him quite yet. He instead told me to follow a set of steps that he laid out for me without charging me for the consultation. I followed his advice, and the case ended up being dropped. Instead of immediately wanting to sign me up for a retainer etc like some other attorneys, he took the time to talk through things with me and advised me exactly when I might need to hire him.
