Michael Trent is a phenomenal Attorney. I have -12 points on my driving record and am a CDL. The charges i was facing would have caused me to loose my license I was being charged with speeding 20+ over, aggressive driving, and driving on a suspended license. He goes in there talks with the officer, whispers to the DA then talks to judge. He gets two of my charges dropped. The speeding reduced to a 1-9 over instead and gets me community service. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Mr Trent., thank for saving my license so i can take care of my family. Thanks agian.????

We hired Elizabeth Trent to represent us on an appeal regarding clarification on visitation and wanting to change some aspects of the order. Months later we saw her 4 days before our court hearing. We were stunned as she did a complete reversal on her expectations for our case. According to her she had several similar cases and had been unsuccessful. She now believed the judge would be led by emotions as a mother and nothing would matter. The orders did not matter, other side breaking the order did not matter. Every issue I brought up or tried to show proof of, she said it did not matter because biomother was dead. She argued with me that cigarette smoke does not increase the risk of ear infections. When I spoke to my husband about no need in going to court, she suggested my thinking was because I needed the money that we paid in legal fees. We wanted to go to court but we knew there was no chance to prevail without any strategy and a lawyer who was whipped before going in. I emailed Mrs.Trent the next day to withdraw our appeal, I told her we had no confidence in her ability to successfully represent us. She said not to blame her for being honest. I again stated we had no confidence in her and left it at that. I did not want to argue and saw no need. Mrs.Trent reimbursed our balance within days. The letter was addressed incorrectly and the memo section read, "refund. Bye Felicia". Now, I took a picture of the check so I have proof of this very unprofessional, childish tyrade in which Mrs.Trent called me a b!#$$ that no one would be sad to see leave. I can only imagine how she would fall apart in court if she faced real adversity. I was never distespectful to her. I was honest and she could not handle that, in my opinion. Update: Mrs. Trent admits she waited until 4 days before the hearing to give us her new version of the truth. Yes, in that 30 minute meetng she did repeatedly say nothing mattered and the judge was a mother who would only follow emotions. She also admits that as a grown woman, professional, she calls people, bye felicia when her feelings get hurt. A mature adult knows they could just move on to the next client without insults. "Cathartic".....write it on a piece of paper and throw it away. Talk to a friend. Maturity knows you do not have to insult someone. Obviously your feelings were hurt and you were mad. It was not cathartic as much as it was revengeful and spiteful. Unreasonable client? No insults just honest and withdrew. I am guessing you have did this to others. We withdrew our case instead of continuing because court is stressful and we decided to let go of what we felt was right and try to be one family. I will not continue a back and forth but did want to say you were not a scapegoat. I did not need one. I could have withdrawn without an explanation or reason. I was truthful. And Mrs.Trent, I posted on Avvo on Saturday.
