In business it takes not only relationships but partnerships with whom people you can trust. Not only trust but rely on and know they are passionate about what they do. As well as for whom they work with or for. BriAnn here at the Norton Firm has been our go too for awhile now for real estate closings. Always responsive and has really went to bat for many of our clients when we couldn’t get an answer or solution from our end. Every time she was able to get those problems solved so both sides could close on time. You need someone who communicates and isn’t afraid to find an answer. When you have so many moving pieces and logistics from multiple sides. It’s important to know you have someone willing to help make it happen so all parties can carry out their lives. There is a lot going on behind the scenes that many will never know or see ,as to not put anymore stress on anyone or to make sure we have an answer before replying instead of coming up empty handed, that we bare as real estate professionals. Bri is one of those who isn’t afraid to step up. Hard workers, caring, compassionate, and driven are my thoughts about what I see and have received from Bri and the entire Norton Firm staff.

I WILL NEVER USE THIS LAW FIRM AGAIN! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY FOR SERVICES NOT RENDERED! IT IS ILLEGAL AND I AM CONTACTING THE BAR! They charge $300 for an attorney even though he hasn't done anything for the secretary to email an eviction notice to the court. TERRIBLE how they charge for services not rendered!

This concerns a real estate transaction. I have bought and sold many houses in Texas, Florida, and New Mexico. All of those transactions were completed at a title company. Each was very professional and efficient. My experience at the Norton Firm was not good based upon my previous experiences. First, the initial closing date was delayed. I have never had this happen before. The closing was delayed from Monday to the following Friday. We were scheduled for a 3pm closing. That was delayed almost 40 minutes. Papers were not neatly laid out for signing. There was lots of paper shuffling and organizing on the fly. By the time we finished it was approximately 4:30pm or a little after. Only after we had signed all of the papers that we were informed that the buyers funding had not been deposited so funds could be dispersed. How do you start a closing without knowing whether funding was available, especially since the cutoff is at 3pm? If checking on funding is not part of your pre-closing verification, then make it so. If you are short handed, then hire someone. If overwhelmed, don’t take the work. Four days after closing I am to finally to receive funds. Terrible experience. I do not recommend this firm for real estate transactions.
