About Law Firm
My name is Chris Wolcott. I have been licensed to practice law in Indiana since 2001. Over the years I have represented hundreds of clients in Indianapolis, IN like you at unemployment compensation hearings, mediations, before the EEOC, in state and federal court matters, and at trial. Prior to becoming an attorney, I was a Human Resource Manager at a medium-sized company. I find this experience gives me a unique perspective on employment matters that the vast majority of attorneys simply do not have. It gives me – and my clients – an edge that other attorneys cannot offer.
Typically, people who call me are in the same position you are: they face a challenging situation that their employer put them in. Problems with co-workers, unpaid wages or failure to pay overtime, harassment, and wrongful termination remain prevalent issues today despite the laws that prohibit these things from happening. These problems put your life and family at risk. Please know you are not alone. I will do everything I can to help you, including listening carefully to your situation and offering an honest assessment of your options. There is no risk to you and all conversations between us are strictly confidential. You will not be pressured in to making quick decisions or spending thousands of dollars. That is not what practicing law and helping people should be about.
Our expertise is in the following areas:
Overtime and Minimum Wage Violations
Blacklisting
Child Labor Law Issues
Disability, Race, Religious, or Sex Harassment
Discriminatory Employment Practices
Employment Contracts
Failure to Accommodate Disability Claims
Failure to pay Wages
Family Medical Leave Act Violations
Severance Negotiations and Agreement Reviews
Unemployment Compensation Hearings
Whistleblower and Retaliation Claims

Reviews

I’ll start off this review by telling you that he informed me I don’t have a case within the first 10 minutes of our conversation. He gets the 5 stars for answering his own phone, for not charging for the consultation, not making me believe I have a case like most others would just to make a buck, and for being a good hearted human being. I learned a lot. Like how Indiana is one of the worst states for employee rights, and the best state to be a corrupt employer in. All that being said, I’d trust him with my case if I had one. People don’t associate the word “integrity” with the word “attorney” often, but after that conversation I can confidently say he deserves a reputation of integrity and I wish him the very best.
Chris handled my case with speed and results. He did everything I asked him to do and more. On a personal level he earned my respect by going out of his way to help get my case going. I highly recommend Wolcott Law Firm for any employment legal issues.
Chris is the epitome of what a lawyer should be. Straight forward, honest, and knowledgeable. I called about a issue with my employment and he ended up having AN HOUR LONG conversation with me to walk me through the in and outs of all my options. Can't thank him enough for his time. I can however recommend him 100%
I spoke to a few attorneys before deciding on Mr. Wolcott and knew I had a good case prior to speaking with him. I chose Mr. Wolcott and continued with him because he was always straightforward with me about my case and what to expect. Also his fee was reasonable. Best experience I've had with an attorney.
I recommend Attorney Chris Wolcott, He is an honest man, it's hard to find credible firms in this day and age. Attorney Wolcott, stands for the oath he took, Don't look anywhere else call them you won't be disappointed.
