Attorney Antoinette M. Wooten is admitted to the bars of the State of NJ bar as well as the US District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of NY and all District Courts in NJ.
She is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and served on the Moot Court Honour Society.
Miss Wooten has experience representing clients regarding violations of the fair housing act; discrimination based on age, race, gender, religion, national origin, criminal defense, appeals, and disability. She has also represented clients in chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcies; employment contract disputes; whistle blowing and other unfair labour practices.
While attending law school Miss Wooten worked at the NYS Department of Labour's Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, Brooklyn Law School's Law Library and interned with the Civil Division of the US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of NY.
She has taught constitutional and criminal law as an adjunct professor at John Jay College and the College of New Rochelle.Miss Wooten also briefly worked as a Pool Attorney for the NJ State Public Defender's Office and the Queens District attorney’s Office.
Miss Wooten is a board member of the Coalition of Concerned Legal Professionals, a not-for-profit organization designed to provide pro bono assistance to urban communities in the USA.
Miss Wooten is also a member of the American Bar Association.
