Run, dont walk away from United Law Center ! I lost $27,000 and almost three years to them with nothing to show for it but $140,000 attached to the back of my loan! I turned to them in desperation trying to keep my home to save my destitute cancer ridden mother and infant son from ending up on the street. Your better of calling Saul! A non profit lawfirm in 30 days and not one dime did what ULC could not in 3 years! After getting nothing but deception, lies and being mislead by my mortgage company I was desperate to find someone to turn to who I could trust and find some help. All I found was the same as my mortgage company, ULC was just the same and just as bad. Shifted from lawyer to lawyer, the one even disappeared and the only reason they knew was because I called the main office. Never any updates until I called several times or went in. No notice of court dates so I could at least be there to see how it was progressing, even though I asked time and time again to be informed. Never a promised news letter, etc. Steve told me in a year I would have some answers, almost three years later no answers, just delays delays. With those delays came the exact same stress and anxiety that I had gotten from dealing with my mortgage company. When I asked 2 years later what I was getting for my $1500 a month, Steve told me that they had stopped the foreclosure on my house, the one and only time my house was foreclosed was when the bank duel tracked me 6 months after I left ULC. Even one of his own lawyers months after that conversation even said my home had never been foreclosed on, nor had they stop anything like that. And the irony of all this waste of time, money, effort, stress and anxiety with ULC is that a non profit lawfirm did in 30 days and without a dime from me what ULC could not or would not do in 3 years. This non profit in 30 days and for no money, saved my home, saving my mother and son, and was ready to sue the mortgage company if they continued to duel track me! This non profit they handled and deal with a plethora of legal cases and have a filled waiting room and yet one lawyer and 30 days had helped me, lifted my stress and anxiety and saved my home, aside from the $140,000 attached to the back end of my loan because I paid ULC for three years to save my home instead of the mortgage company. ULC is no better then the mortgage company's they claim to save you from. They are one more entity that rose up to take advantage of people's desperation after the crash of 09.
