On Thursday, May 04, 2023, I called to inquire about how to open an estate through probate court since the passing of my brother. Ms Lori Franklin called and immediately told me that she was straight-forward during her demeaning conversation. Her bedside manner is horrendous. She insulted my intelligence, was talking non-stop, and made too many assumptions. When I corrected her on a matter, she quickly chirped that her assistant takes good notes and she had all the information needed to respond to me, then told me to contact her when the decision was made to hire legal counsel. As she was talking to me, I knew that I would rather pay an attorney a consultation fee than have a free one with her. Do attorneys forgot to be personable, empathetic and/or considerate at all, especially when someone is grieving. May 30, 2023 "In Response to the Owner", Ms Lori Franklin left me a voicemail after hours on the Thursday (referenced to in my original review) identifying herself as Lori Franklin, so, please don't insult my intelligence. I returned the call twice before a male answered, asked who I was, then transferred the call. Unfortunately, some people are just rude but try to come-off as being direct and honest. Please don't make excuses for someone else's behavior. All too often, people will surprise you!!

Mr. Andre Wharton is an attorney I would definitely recommend; however, Mrs. Ruby Wharton is the rudest individual I’ve encountered. I contacted the office about wether or not I was needing to supply them with a 1099 being that I have payed for a service. She interjected with attitude and and was very demeaning. It is quite awful to experience such distasteful behavior. She has no professional knowledge of accountancy and yet advised me that I am not to send them a 1099-NEC; however, my accountant stated that any amount paid to an attorney greater than $600 is to be reported. She further advised that I am not to report the expense as their is no deduction. She then stated that she is not an accountant; however, she advises as such. I paid well over $600 for a service, this is indeed income for the law firm; however, Mrs. Ruby states that this not considered income. The IRS would stated differently. I will send a 1099-NEC as I am directed by my accountant. Perhaps the law firm should consult with their accountant prior to stating inaccurate information.

I was involved in a car accident last year, that turned my world upside down. Mr. Andre Wharton and Ms. Lori Franklin handled my case. They were very personable and thorough, making sure that I was OK throughout the entire process. Ms. Franklin always updated me throughout the different phases of the case.They were always gracious hosts in person and very knowledgeable in navigating me through the process. The entire office staff embodies the true spirit of humility and service. You could not ask for better representation. They are truly in the business of taking care of people.

I was referred to Andre by a counselor at my previous job. After telling her about my legal problem and the charge I was facing (a felony charge) she said to me "You need a bulldog" someone that's gonna fight for you and someone that's gonna protect you and that someone is Andre Wharton. And man was she right! He advocated for me and worked with the prosecutors for 3 years straight until my case was finally dismissed. What I admired most about Andre was that he was very transparent..He kept it real with me whether it was good or bad. He stayed in contact with me and answered any questions or concerns I had. I could text him at any time and he would get back to me promptly. And that really means a lot because most lawyers will purposely make themselves inaccessible until your court date and you're left not knowing what's going on or what will happen. He kept me in the loop at all times. When he called me and left a voicemail on my phone that he had gotten my felony case dismissed and would start working on my expungement. I broke down in tears because I knew then that God had placed Andre in my path for this very reason. I would give him a hundred stars? if I could and I recommend him to any and everyone in need of counsel....in need of someone that's really gonna fight for you.

My experience with the Wharton Law Firm was nothing short of exceptional. Attorney Andre Wharton did an remarkable job of keeping me informed regarding all the updates about my case. He was very approachable and accommodating; he listened attentively which showed he cared about the details of my case. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my case and I would HIGHLY recommend the Wharton Law Firm!
