Reviews

Very happy to be back with Ward, Murray, Pace & Johnson. Kyle Carlock is top-notch and did an excellent job of explaining everything while updating my trust, will, and POA documents. He went above and beyond and his communication via phone calls and emails are swift and beyond reproach. One of the best experiences I have had with attorneys.
Attorney Kyle Carlock was great to work with in preparing our will. He was knowledgeable in giving us advice we needed. He listened and gave well thought out replies in helping us to make the decision we thought best for our needs. The entire process was completed with excellent communication and complete professionalism. If you are looking for an attorney who is great to work with I can't recommend Ward, Murray, Pace & Johnson and Kyle highly enough!
I am impressed with this law firm overall. However, I will say it is not at all appealing when a business does not respond to inquires until you have to call the office multiple times. I submitted inquiries online and by email and only received a response when I called the office itself. It’s not a good look. Thankfully, once I was attended to my inquiry was responded to. I wish this business the best.
This review encompasses dealings I've had with this firm representing municipalities and subsequent issues within their councils regarding elected officials including myself, city employees, and unfair treatment from the city attorney. Communications, or lack thereof, from June 16th 2022 and multiple instances after, left much to be desired and left myself feeling as if the people in charge of handling legal matters within the city are actually just there to save a city's reputation. I believe a direct quote was 'the city lawyer is not a sword or shield for anyone but the mayor' when the unprofessional, demeaning, and abusive conduct this mayor made was formally reported. Instead of handling issues, this firms representative opted for a 'get over it' response at best, with other issues being mostly ignored. Leading me to note: 'Lost emails' (another direct excuse from the representative of this firm) are just excuses to not deal with issues at hand, and ignoring further communications just writes off problems instead of professionally dealing with them promptly. Thus is my 1 star experience with WMPJ.
Matt Keegan is extremely detail oriented and well versed. He has helped me negotiate and purchase two businesses and I can't imagine not having him on my side. The firm is professional and great to work with as well. Highly recommend!
