Run, don't walk from this law firm! In my 36 years of mortgage lending, I have never witnessed such poor customer service. In fact, the service was so deplorable this is the first negative review I have ever written. Emily Bickel who works in the Dover office was and continues to be mean, lazy and totally unprofessional! As a business owner, I can only say that I would not want someone with this negative type of demeanor representing my company! It took nearly 3 weeks to get a Pre-CD which delayed our closing. Then the closer who had access to our closing pkg 4 days prior to settlement, didn't bother to look at it until minutes before closing? The poor clients who chose this law firm who are equally upset by their lack of customer service were left sitting at the table for far longer than needed due to their lack of preparation. I was refinancing with my ex and Elizabeth L . Soucek the attorney kept us waiting for over 30 minutes with no apologies and her and some of her staff through shade. I think they were prejudiced because we were a gay couple. Very callous near the end didn’t ask us if we had any questions. Just a shady group of people and rude.

This was the company my realtor recommended when I bought my home in 2019. The staff were really friendly and patient.

Ward & Taylor recently represented us in a settlement on a large purchase (a farm) that required a great deal of work on their part. We wanted to get to settlement two weeks earlier than scheduled (due to my dad's terminal illness, and we wanted him to get to enjoy the property and spend some time out there). Bill Ward and his staff made it happen and made all of our dreams come true. I can't thank him enough and his entire staff for working tirelessly with us and the sellers to get to settlement on an expedited basis. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs an excellent, reasonable, fair, and understanding law firm for real estate transactions.

I use this attorneys office for all my real estate needs. People are nice, they listen and understand. I am always kept informed and they actually answer the phone when I call. They also follow declares covid rules to keep people safe. Keep up the good work guys.
