From a young age, Gregory Colvin knew that he wanted to help people in need but it was not always clear to him how he would do it. Katherine Piccin Glynn was born in Southfield, Michigan on May 29, 1969. She was a Ford Foundation Scholar at Eckerd College, from which she graduated with honors in 1991.
