Attorney Joe M. Reed graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1996 after obtaining his BA degree from Morehouse College in 1992. Joe is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Alabama, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. He handles both civil and criminal cases throughout the state including asset forfeiture or cash seizures, workers compensation, motor vehicle accidents, personal injuries, defective products and wrongful death.

Ben Hand is the founding partner of Hand Law Firm, LLC. as well as a partner in Hand & Hand Mediation, LLC. Ben was admitted to the Bar in Alabama in 1990 after earning his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. Ben completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Auburn University in 1987b and has remained an avid Auburn fan. Ben was born in Valley, Alabama and traveled as a child to Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Mexico with his parents who worked as missionaries and teachers. It was during his childhood travels that he learned to love the Central American culture and learned to speak fluent Spanish. After high school, Ben returned to Auburn and has remained a citizen of Lee County for the past thirty-five years. In 1990, Ben founded Hand Law Firm, LLC. He has been practicing for over twenty-five years. Ben focuses his practice on criminal defense, civil litigation, social security, family law, and probate law. Holly earned her undergraduate degree from Brandeis University near Boston, where she played collegiate soccer and captained the team to three NCAA tournament appearances. She later moved with her family to Alabama and obtained her J.D. from Jones School of Law. After graduation, Holly began her career in personal injury law before relocating to Indiana to support her husband’s active-duty military service. During that time, she became licensed to practice in Indiana (now retired). With her husband’s final duty station at Fort Benning, she returned to Alabama and joined David at Bence Law Firm. Holly is licensed to practice in Alabama and Georgia and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama, as well as the Middle District of Georgia. David Bence is a native of Alabama who has a busy law practice in Phenix City, the town where he grew up. David completed his undergraduate studies at Troy University, where he received a B.S. in Business in 2004. He then worked for a time before deciding to pursue a career in law. David enrolled at Jones School of Law where he received his J.D. in 2008. He then went to work in the Auburn office of the Slocumb Law Firm, where he concentrated on representing individuals who have been injured. After a few years, David decided to launch his own firm with a goal of providing clients superior legal service and a commitment to seeking maximum compensation for them. He opened the Bence Law Firm LLC in Auburn and later decided to move the law practice to his hometown of Phenix City.
