Mr. Moore is past president of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (1993 to 1994).  He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and has been a member of the Board of Governors of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association since 1985.  He was appointed by Governor John G. Rowland to serve as a member of the Criminal Justice Commission, which hires all prosecutors for the State of Connecticut.  He was appointed by Chief Justice McDonald to the Civil Justice Commission, which oversees reforms to the Connecticut Civil Justice system.  Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Moore was a partner of Carmody & Torrance where he chaired that firm's plaintiffs practice.

He is an active lecturer in the field of trial practice.  He is a special master for the State Superior Courts and the Federal Courts and is an arbitrator for the Connecticut Superior Courts.

Mr. Moore limits his practice to civil trial advocacy in the State and Federal Courts, specifically negligence, malpractice, product liability, automobile collisions, construction accidents, and aviation disasters.  He was named in the Connecticut Magazine as one of the State's top lawyers in the personal injury field.

Mr. Moore's significant court cases include acting as one of several lead counsel in a $45,000,000.00 Class Action settlement regarding the collapse of the L'Ambiance Plaza in 1987.  He was appointed and served as a special master by both the State and Federal Courts in resolving the claims against Probate Judge Nahley, who embezzled millions from his clients.  He has tried over 100 civil cases to verdict.  He has been involved in more than 100 settlements and awards in excess of $1,000,000.00.

Mr. Moore, himself a pilot, became involved in aviation litigation in 1988 when he was appointed by the Colorado Federal Court to resolve claims stemming from the crash occurring at the Stapleton International Airport in Denver.  Since that time, he has handled cases for victims of the Value Jet crash in Florida, the TWA disaster in Long Island, the Alaskan Airline cases and many other claims involving small and light aircraft crashes.  He is also the coordinator for Connecticut attorneys representing victims from the air disasters and terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
