Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

In the past 2 years I took over a Federal Criminal Investigation in which my client had hired another attorney. He was getting ready to be arrested because his previous attorney was not working his case. I was hired onto the case and negotiated an arrangement where he was not arrested or charged.

How did you build a successful practice?

With honesty, communication and hard work. I actually get a lot of clients who are unhappy with their current attorney. I strive to keep a constant dialogue with a client from beginning to end; so that i can keep them informed about the progress of their case. I will advise you of the strengths and weakness of your case.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

Communication and experience

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

It is helpful. Every case is unique. Some issues may arise where it is helpful to have a local counsel. But the law should be interpreted the same regardless of local rules.

I don't bullshit a client just to make them feel better. Yet, I am able to be compassionate towards my client and their case.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Helping somebody when they feel hopeless and getting them a result that they thought was impossible

What are your other interests in addition to law?

Cars, hunting, biking, skateboarding, off-roading, and the beach
