There are few events in life more stressful than a divorce or more devastating than the passing of a loved one. For 30 years, I have been assisting families and individuals in resolving sensitive divorce issues and guiding them through the complex web of laws related to wills and probate. After practicing with law firms in New Hampshire and Georgia, I founded my own firm in 2012 to give you the personal attention that such sensitive legal matters demand. As an active member of the communities of Cherokee and Cobb counties, I’ve come to know a wide range of people on a personal basis, just as I have done for the past 30 years. Hearing their stories is a constant reminder of how vitally important sound legal advice can be in times of need. I am one of the few attorneys in the area who concentrates on both divorce and wills and probate. When you need a sympathetic ear and experienced legal advice, I am only a phone call away and ready to help you through a troubling time. And while I take your legal case very seriously, I try not to take myself too seriously — laughter is, after all, the best medicine, and I find that a good sense of humor goes a long way in helping you to relax — especially during stressful situations.

A native of Metter, Georgia, Josh D. Tucker always knew he wanted to be a lawyer. His great-grandfather, Lester Cleveland (L.C.) Anderson, was a lawyer, state court judge and long-time mayor of Metter. “That had a great influence on me,” said Tucker. “I learned from his legacy that good things come to people who work really hard.” Tucker graduated from Metter High School in 1986 and attended LaGrange College earning a B.A. in English in 1990. He attended the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, graduating magna cum laude in 2000. Tucker passed the Georgia state bar exam on the first try, and shortly thereafter began an association with law school classmate, Matt Hube. “Matt and I covered real estate, probate, domestic, criminal and personal injury,” said Tucker. Beginning in 2001, the partnership of Hube & Tucker, LLC covered general law for ten years. “Over time, work was allocated and Matt did domestic and criminal, while I covered real estate, probate and personal injury. I began to feel that real estate law wasn’t really helping people, probate was more of a process, but personal injury was truly helping people and their families.” In 2010 Tucker began practicing solo solely representing individuals and their families who have been injured due to no fault of their own. “At my firm, we have a different approach. I prefer to work on every file myself. That personal attention means I can understand my client, their problems, concerns and needs.” Starting in 2016 and every year following until 2021, Tucker was honored by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys as one of the Ten Best in Georgia for Client Satisfaction and in 2021, was awarded the Ten Best in Georgia for High Verdict & Settlement Winner. Josh has also been honored by Martindale Hubbell legal services with the Client Distinction Award for quality of service, overall value, responsiveness and communication ability. The National Trial Lawyers (NTL) have recognized Tucker as one of the Top 100 in the Nation for civil plaintiff trials. In 2017 and 2021, he was chosen by Attorney & Practice Magazine as one of Georgia’s Top 10 Personal Injury Attorneys. Tucker was also recognized by the following throughout his career; Best of the Best Attorney’s – Top 10 Personal Injury Law Attorney, Attorney & Practice Magazine – Top 10 Attorney, Million Dollar Advocates Forum – Top Trial Lawyers in America, Elite Lawyer – Top Attorney, America’s Best Advocates Top Attorney Personal Injury 2021 & 2022 and Top Law Firm 2021 & 2022, The American Association of Attorneys Advocates- Top Ranking Attorney & Top Ranking Law Firm in 2021 & 2022 and LexisNexis – Martindale Hubbell Peer Review. Tucker is as dedicated to your family, as he is his own. He has three children Bland, Abigail and Finn. He enjoys traveling with family, Georgia Bulldog football, golfing and entertaining friends. “This is a family oriented firm, and I treat each client as I would my own family.”

I graduated cum laude in 2002 from the Georgia State University College of Law, where I was a member of Law Review. My undergraduate degree is in history from the University of Florida. Prior to and during law school, I worked at the Federal Trade Commission on consumer protection cases, primarily involving enforcement actions under Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act relating to advertising and marketing practices. I started my legal career at a large international firm, where I defended FTC enforcement actions as well as represented international corporations in a diverse variety of high-stakes cases involving advertising, marketing, trademark and copyright protection, defamation, and business disputes. Desiring more trial work, I transitioned to a mid-size firm with other former big firm attorneys. There, I continued my diverse practice, tried over 40 cases, and made partner. In August 2021, I founded Bazinet Law, where I bring together my diverse legal background to help people with unique legal problems that touch on the area of social media, intellectual property, consumer protection, and sports. Outside of my law practice, I am licensed soccer coach who has worked with high-level competitive youth soccer for the better part of 30 years. I also play and am an avid fan.
