Matt White is a native of Montgomery, Alabama. He graduated from Auburn University in 1990 with a degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Marketing. Matt earned his law degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 1994 and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar that same year. After graduating law school Matt served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Fifth Judicial Circuit of Alabama. While working as an Assistant District Attorney Matt tried many cases to verdict and gained invaluable courtroom experience. In 1999, Matt and his family moved to Auburn and joined the firm of Walker, Hill, Adams, Umbach, Meadows & Walton and began practicing general civil litigation. Matt wass a founding partner in the Adams, White, Oliver, Short & Forbus, LLP firm which formed in 2002. In 2021, Matt started his own practice which specializes in Workers Compensation law, Employment Law, and general civil litigation. Matt's office is located in Opelika, Alabama, which is the sister city to Auburn, Alabama and is located in East Central Alabama.
