About Gordon

Mr. Rountree attended Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991. He was awarded his law degree cum laude from Tulane University in 1995. In 1997 Mr. Rountree returned to school and obtained a Master of Laws in Health Law from Loyola University School of Law in Chicago.

From 1995 to 1997 Mr. Rountree served as an Assistant District Attorney in the New Orleans District Attorney's office where he personally tried over 115 felony cases, including approximately 40 felony jury trials. Upon receipt of his L.L.M. in 1998, Mr. Rountree joined the firm. Mr. Rountree has primarily worked in the area of civil and criminal healthcare fraud and abuse; healthcare transactions; physician licensure and disciplinary proceedings; managed care; payment issues; and general healthcare law.
