He interned at Loyola University in the Department of General Surgery. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at the Northwestern University Department of Ophthalmology, Chicago, IL. His Fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal Surgical Disease was completed at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston, MA.
