About Heidi
Heidi has been practicing family law for fifteen years. Her personal and professional experiences have led to a philosophy that whenever possible it is best to resolve family law issues without litigation. As a result she focuses her part of the practice on mediation and collaborative law. As an attorney, she has the legal knowledge to share with clients so that they can make decisions appropriate for their lives. As a divorced person with a blended family, she has the practical experience to help provide examples and innovative solutions that help families move forward.
Heidi attended law school at the University of California, Davis, King Hall School of Law, and graduated in 1994. During law school, she was a member of the Law Review, a member of the admissions committee, and graduated in the top third of her class. Heidi earned a B.A. in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine, where she graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa and was Vice President and a founding member of Alpha Phi International Fraternity, Eta Kappa Chapter.
Heidi is a trained collaborative law professional and a member of the Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association. She has also been trained as a Family Law Mediator. Heidi volunteers as a Family Law Mediator for the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Heidi is married, has four children, and enjoys walking marathons.
