About Howard

Over the past decade, Mr. Boyd has litigated complex commercial and employment-related lawsuits at the trial and appellate level, in addition to counseling employers regarding traditional labor and employment issues.  He possesses trial experience in state and federal courts spanning multiple jurisdictions, including Texas and Louisiana.  He successfully represented hotels and a major hospital in a series multi-party of products liability, construction defect and insurance coverage cases.  Further, Mr. Boyd has effectively stewarded employers through difficult personnel challenges, including, but not limited to, defending against sexual harassment complaints and lawsuits, unfair labor practice charges, employment discrimination charges and lawsuits, Fair Labor Standards Act violations, and employee termination issues.  Also, Mr. Boyd frequently serves as a lecturer for major continuing legal education providers including Lorman Education Services, national trade groups, and other entities. 

In 2007 the Sher Garner law firm in New Orleans, Louisiana promoted Mr. Boyd to equity Member status.
