About Hugo
Mr. Acebo focuses his practice on representing individuals in high net-worth, financially complicated cases. His extensive litigation experience includes representing couples in dissolution proceedings with issues related to premarital agreements, marital settlement agreements, alimony, support and valuation and distribution of assets. In addition, Mr. Acebo handles family law issues pertaining to paternity, separation, issues related to the relocation of children, cohabitation and issues relating to same-sex relationships, including parenting and support.
Prior to joining Bluestein and Wayne, P.A., Mr. Acebo was a prosecuting attorney for the State of Florida with the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office where he prosecuted cases involving a myriad of felony charges including serious domestic violence cases and with the Office of Attorney General, Office of Statewide Prosecution, where he headed complex investigations and prosecuted crimes involving complicated financial transactions.
