Shenila A. Momin graduated with a double major in Political Science and Communications in 1995 from Houston Baptist University suma cum laude. She attended some of the top law schools in the United States from Notre Dame Law School in South Bend, Indiana to Southern Methodist University Law School in Dallas, Texas. Ms. Momin was admitted to the State of Bar of Texas in 1999. She is authorized to practice law before the Supreme Court of Texas and all Immigration Courts. She is also a member of the State Bar of Texas and American Immigration Lawyer’s Association (AILA). Ms. Momin is one of the founding partners in the law firm and she practices in all areas of immigration, business transactions including real estate and corporate acquisitions and trademark registration. Ms. Momin represents a wide variety of clients from the individual employer to multi-million dollar corporations. Shenila A. Momin has served and continues to serve in various local community organizations and is head of the legal affairs department for Ibn Sina Foundation, a non-profit health organization in Houston, Texas.

Farooq A. Esani spent his early years in Karachi, Pakistan. He moved to U.S. in 1986 as a student to attend the University of Houston. Being an immigrant himself, he is passionate about immigration issues and understands the harsh realities of settling and assimilating into a new culture. Mr. Esani did his undergraduate work in the field of Business Administration and earned his Master’s in Accounting and Taxation. As a Certified Public Accountant, he held various financial and tax positions with American General Corporation and Arthur Andersen, LLP. Mr. Esani received his law degree in 1999, graduating Cum Laude. Mr. Esani is authorized to practice law before the Supreme Court of Texas and all Immigration Courts. Mr. Esani served as an Immigration Associate for the prestigious firm of Thompson & Knight, LP until 2000, when he entered the private practice of law. Mr. Esani devotes his practice to family and employment-based immigration, employer sanctions and naturalization, as well as some litigation. As a community leader, Mr. Esani has conducted numerous public seminars on immigration matters. In addition, Mr. Esani serves on the board of various community associations and provides legal assistance to community health and financial institutions. Farooq A. Esani is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association.

Hector Salinas was born and raised in Edinburg, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army for four years and received an Honorable Discharge following his tenure. After graduating from UT-RGV, he attended Texas Wesleyan Law School in Fort Worth, Texas, which is now Texas A&M Law School. He received his Juris Doctorate in 2005. His hobbies include writing novels, raising his bull terrier, and sports. He’s also written a screenplay, which eventually became a feature film and premiered on HBO in 2016. Hector Salinas had his own law firm for over 15 years and specialized in immigration, personal injury, and civil litigation. However, maintaining the business side of running his own law firm limited his ability to practice law exclusively, therefore, working with KGS has provided him the opportunity to practice on a full-time basis which has given him a greater appreciation for the law and its purpose. Additionally, he’s a father to three boys and spends as much time as possible raising them because they are his pride and joy. And finally, he takes his oath as a lawyer extremely serious and tries to take a personal interest in every client he represents based on the premise that the client is the sole reason attorneys are necessary.

Jason McLaurin is a founding member of McLaurin Law. He also represents businesses as outside general counsel for clients in a variety of industries including construction, oil and gas, maritime, technology, and professional services. He is licensed and handles matters in both Texas and Louisiana.

Gennaro Of Counsel to the San Antonio office with nearly two decades of experience as an attorney and investigator. After several years away from San Antonio, he feels privileged to have the opportunity to work with and help in anyway the city’s growing and diverse immigrant community. Gennaro earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and received a full academic scholarship from Ave Maria Law School in Ann Arbor Michigan, where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree. He is a member of the Florida and Texas state bars and has practiced at both the state and federal level. In many of his cases, he has had the honor of fighting for the labor rights of immigrants on an individual and collective basis. Sarah D. Monty-Arnoni is a partner and leader of the immigration practice group of Monty & Ramirez and Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She counsels employers in all aspects of employment-based immigration, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visas, permanent residency, citizenship, policy development and compliance with the ever-increasing regulations applicable to both U.S. employers and the foreign nationals whom they employ. Sarah’s clients include families, investors, emerging and mid-sized businesses and large corporations in a variety of industries, such as energy, health care, IT consulting, oil and gas, financial services and the import and export of consumer goods. She also assists clients in performing “immigration due diligence” in preparation for corporate restructures and merger and acquisition transactions. Sarah is passionate about immigrant education issues due to her previous experience as public school bilingual education teacher serving at-risk youth in El Paso, Texas. Sarah has also taught English as a Foreign Language in Spain from 1985-1992 as well as the El Paso Community College from 1992-1995. As an attorney Sarah has served as a law instructor at Thurgood Marshall School of Law, San Jacinto Community College and the University of Houston Small Business Development Center.
