About Joseph

Dave Standeffer handles Trials and cases before all State and Federal Courts. He is a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate by The National Board of Trial Advocacy as a result of meeting the rigorous qualification requirements and passing the written national examination. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum based upon his trial verdict and settlements of One Million Dollars and more. After serving as a Captain in the Army J.A.G. Corps for three years, he practiced law with a firm in Europe for one year, then practiced for one year in Anderson, before joining the Tenth Judicial Circuit Solicitor's Office (Anderson & Oconee) for seven years. He served as Anderson County Attorney for two years. Standeffer graduated from Clemson University in 1972 and the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1975. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, South Carolina Trial Lawyers Associations, the Anderson County, South Carolina & American Bar Associations and the Association for Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Anderson, is married and has one child.
