About Jamie
Jamie Kent Hamelburg, an associate of Press, Potter & Dozier, graduated from The University of Michigan Law School in 1989. Following her graduation, Ms. Hamelburg clerked for the Honorable Rudolph J. Gerber on the Arizona Court of Appeals. She then moved to the Washington, DC area, where she became an associate at McKenna & Cuneo (now McKenna Long & Aldridge). She worked there from 1990-1995, where she gained extensive experience in litigation before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, and in bid protests before the General Accounting Office. Her practice included litigation of complex contractual issues, such as those arising out of the termination for default of the A-12 advanced tactical aircraft.
From 1995-1998, Ms. Hamelburg was the Editor-In-Chief of The Government Contractor, a weekly publication on government contract law and policy published by Federal Publications.
At Press, Potter & Dozier, Ms. Hamelburg's practice concentrates on general business law, commercial real estate, government contracts and trusts and estates.
