What should clients look for in a lawyer?

A client should look for a lawyer who listens to their concerns at the initial consultation. If a lawyer is quick to offer a fast resolution, he has not asked enough questions after the client finishes talking. The initial consultation should be conversational, and the client should feel comfortable.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

I can generally provide a prior result from a similar case in the past. This is to show the client that I have handled this type of case in the past, and to show the results were favorable. However, you always tell the client that no results, even with successful prior results, are promised.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

I need their contact information in case the initial consultation must be cut short or rescheduled. I also like to know as much background information as possible, including any documentation to support their claims.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

I enjoy helping clients achieve the goals they wanted to reach.

Are you involved in your community?

I am the Cubmaster of a local Cub Scout Pack. I am also a member of the Azalea City Civic Club. We raise money through community events and donate all monies to local charities.

"I hired Mr. Moon nearly 3 years ago to represent me in a divorce and child custody case. Together we went through a divorce initially with shared physical custody to Temporary and final modification where I was awarded physical custody of my 2 children. Being a military family it is important to find a trustworthy and respected attorney to represent me. Mr. Moon represents the utmost in integrity and honesty and it was greatly appreciated!

SAMPLE LEGAL CASES

Does Getting a Document Notarized Make It "Legal"?
The public's perception of what a notary does and what notarization accomplishes is often incorrect. This is particularly the case when a person brings a document to a notary public to be notarized, thinking that the notarization will in some way "legalize" the document or make it "official." Unmarried? You Are Not Alone, But You Still Need a Plan
Did you know that in many instances, it is even more important that a single person have a well-coordinated estate plan, than a married couple. This is because the default laws governing estates often work poorly for people without a spouse and may not adequately provide for a significant other or unmarried partner. Having a cohesive and well-drafted estate plan will ensure that you protect and provide for those you truly care about upon your death. Learn more here.
When an Adult Needs a Guardian of Property
There are two types of guardianships: a guardianship of the person and a guardianship of the property (also known as a guardianship of the estate or a conservatorship). A guardian of the person is responsible for the ward’s physical safety and well-being. A guardian of the property is responsible for the ward’s money and assets. Learn more here.
