About Jason
Jason graduated Southwestern University School of Law in 2005, earning the CALI award, accolades in the Interscholastic Trial Advocacy Program and an internship in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office Hardcore Gang Division where he assisted in the prosecution of multiple first degree murder and three strike cases. After entering the California Bar in 2006 he began his career in criminal law defending clients successfully in multiple trials. His advocacy skills in the courtroom garnered a reputation as a formidable trial attorney. As a result he was offered a position at a boutique employment law firm as a litigator and trial attorney where he managed a large caseload while meeting success in multiple trial. He hung his shingle in 2008 and continued general civil litigation. He has spent countless hours in the courtroom for practically every type of hearing. Now a founding partner at Brumfield & Nelms he aims to provide an even greater level of legal representation into the future. Jason is a member of multiple local bar programs and maintains close relationships with attorneys and court staff from Downtown to the South Bay.
