About Jason
Jason D. Smith attended Missouri State University earning a B.S. in Finance and Business Administration in 2000. He then attended law school at the Oklahoma City University School of Law graduating with a degree of Juris Doctor in 2004. Upon graduation, he entered private practice in Oklahoma working in the area of workers' compensation and general litigation. In 2006, Mr. Smith moved back to Springfield and joined the Courtney Law Firm. There, he worked in the fields of Estate Planning and Probate.
Mr. Smith joined Neale & Newman in June 2007. His practice is focused in the areas of estate planning, family law, workers compensation, landlord/tenant law, and general litigation. He is a member of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Missouri Bar Association. Mr. Smith is admitted to practice in Oklahoma, Missouri, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
